In June 29, State Agency for Technology Innovation (SATI), Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Development (NATEC) coordinated with Mekong University to organize a scientific conference "Technology connection and innovative startup models".

The conference is divided into 2 sessions. The first session was a presentation by scientists about the practical picture and needs from universities, including the role of Mekong University leaders in promoting university startups and connection initiatives. International resources develop training programs for technology entrepreneurs at training facilities in Vietnam and apply innovative thinking in scientific research activities to R&D activities.

The second session was an open discussion on the role of university leadership in connecting technology and building a start-up university model, an open innovation model and promoting links between Government - Business - Institute in building innovation ecosystem.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Van Tung - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology evaluated the organization of the conference and affirmed that supporting activities to connect technology and build innovative start-up models is one of practical activities, in accordance with general international and national trends.
