About this program
Vietnam is the first country in Southeast Asia to host Grab Ventures Ignite — a clear signal of Grab's confidence in the Vietnamese startup ecosystem. The programme is delivered within the strategic partnership between Grab and the National Innovation Centre (NIC), Ministry of Planning and Investment.
The programme selects up to five startups at the early-stage or post-seed phase, prioritising solutions that expand access to the digital economy for individuals and small businesses, initiatives that help SMEs overcome digital transformation challenges, and technology in transportation, logistics and fintech.
Each selected startup receives an investment of up to USD 150,000, technical support for solution deployment, a real-market experience in Singapore organised by IMDA, and access to Grab's partner and investor network across the region.
The programme runs for five months, concluding with a Demo Day attended by leading Southeast Asian investment funds. Evaluation criteria focus on a sustainable business model, quality of the founding team and potential synergy with the Grab ecosystem.
